Hotel Belesso now benefits from the label « Accueil Vélo » ("Welcome Cyclists"). We are located in the near vicinity of two bike routes :

- Alpilles Val d’Enfer which makes a loop in the Alpilles and crosses the village of Fontvieille about 800 m from the hotel

- La Méditerranée à Vélo EV8, which runs along the north of the Alpilles, then runs through the villages of St Rémy de Provence and St-Etienne-du-Grès (8 km from the hotel) and then crosses the Rhône river at Tarascon-Beaucaire and then finally descends towards Arles from the west side

We offer dedicated services to bicycle travelers: a secure bicycle shelter and a bicycle cleaning area; repair kits are available on request.

We offer a laundry service. Luggage, bicycle and passenger transport services are also available on request.

We can advise you and help you get in touch with bike rental companies and repairers. Rental companies may deliver bicycles to the hotel upon prior reservation.

The ideal location of the hotel at the base of the Alpilles, between Camargue, les Baux de Provence and Arles, makes it easy to explore all that this beautiful region offers.

In the village of Fontvieille, visit the Daudet Mill ! From the hotel, you can easily walk to the trail linking four newly renovated mills which are open to visitors during the summer season.

In the village center, you will find vestiges of the main activity of the village, which was for a long time centered around the stone quarries. The whole village has been completely shaped by this activity. You will find in the old village in the Planet area, troglodyte houses and other vestiges of this period.

Les Baux de Provence is one of the most visited destinations in France with over one million visitors a year, and a truly unique place. Situated in the middle of the Alpilles Regional Natural Park, it is both one of the most beautiful villages of France and a significant historic vestige of the history of Provence.

You can stroll through the narrow streets with their many shops, sit down on a shady terrace and enjoy the splendid view from this steep cliff top (“baux” in the Provencal language refers to a steep cliff).

You can also visit the Château des Baux and its ramparts, offering guided tours all year round. During the summer season, numerous activities are offered around the medieval theme: demonstrations of war machines, battles between knights, etc.

Les Carrières de Lumière offers its sound and light show which is really worth a visit!
